9 a.m.-9 p.m. Join Ski and Ride for a Cure as we partner with White Pass and participate at their annual Winter Carnival on February 29, 2020. Ski and Ride for a Cure and White Pass will be fundraising for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and The Goodtimes Project both located in Seattle, Washington.

The mission of Fred Hutch is the elimination of cancer and related diseases as causes of human suffering and death. The Hutch conducts research of the highest standards to improve prevention and treatment of cancer and related diseases.

When cancer becomes your world, The Goodtimes Project creates caring spaces for local families to connect and kids to be kids, through camps, events, and programs. We serve families throughout Washington and Alaska with a goal of providing cost-free programing to help them reconnect with a world beyond their diagnosis.

Participants of all ages and skills engage in friendly competition for awards and prizes in two categories:

Top Fundraisers & Vertical Feet

The Vertical Challenge returns this season! Participants are challenged to log vertical feet for from February 1, 2020 thru February 29, 2020.  Vertical may be logged at any resort during the month of February.  To participate, track your vertical feet digitally (tracking app of your choice) and report your total vertical upon check-in.

Prizes will be awarded for fundraising and awards for vertical challenge winners. Our prizes make people happy!   Prizes may include:  Go Pro’s, gift cards, and swag from our sponsors.

This year's event will also include a bunch of fun activities throughout the day, including a 5-card draw run, on-mountain scavenger hunt, costume contest, tug-a-war, winter carnival activities and more!

Not only do you have a chance to make a difference while participating, you also can experience riding with views of beautiful Mt Rainier on awesome terrain that meets every skier and riders’ abilities. 

Become a VIP and raise 250.00 dollars by February 25, 2020.  VIP's will receive a special Ski & Ride for a Cure T-Shirt.

Each participant will be given tools to create a custom fundraising web page designed to help set goals, acknowledge supporters and share their journey with donors and friends online.
