Revolutionary Trees Naturalist Walk at The Yakima Area Arboretum

10 am 11 pm. Come Celebrate Independence Day with a free Naturalist Walk on Saturday, June 29. Trees have played a critical role in the development of our great nation, from providing building materials, to sparking America's lumber industry, and standing as a symbol of patriotism during the American Revolution.

To celebrate our nation's Independence Day, Arboretum Naturalist Bob Chicken will lead visitors on a free guided history walk to several integral tree species that not only "fueled" the Revolutionary War, but also served as a rallying call to the people's liberty and independence. 

The walk will be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour long, space is limited to 20 visitors per walk so please register early for more information please visit ://www.ahtrees.org
